Sun in H-Alpha wavelength with high intensity solar flares. Solar flares are the energy released from a broken magnetic field. The magnetic field on the sun is extremely constricted by differential rotation (each part of the sun rotates with different speed) of the sun, once it reaches a tipping point, the magnetic field lines snaps and the energy trapped inside these field lines is released in the form of a “Solar Flare”
